Awesome!  I honestly can’t think of anyone better!

The Republican party in Oregon is currently run by an elitist “consultant class” of so-called “moderates” who continually water down conservative principles in the hopes of appearing more “centrist.”   It has cost them election after election, but they have refused to learn from their mistakes, preferring to pin the blame on “extreme right wing” conservatives who stand for the Tea Party principles of limited government, free markets and fiscal responsibility.

Art Robinson has a long record of sticking to his conservative principles, at great personal cost.   It has threatened both the Republican establishment and the Left.  Both have done their best to marginalize him, even going so far as to attack his children.   His level of courage and commitment are exactly what the GOP needs to re-grow its spine and start taking back ground in Oregon!

The Oregonian reports:

Former congressional candidate Art Robinson announced late Wednesday that he is running for the chairmanship of the Oregon Republican Party.

[…]  Robinson is a chemist who operates a small scientific institute in Cave Junction.  His family also sells a home-schooling curriculum and he produces an energy newsletter.  He’s well-known nationally for expressing skepticism of global warming and for his staunch defense of nuclear power.

[…]  While Robinson was a delegate pledged to Mitt Romney, he also has ties to Texas Rep. Ron Paul and has spoken favorably of Paul’s critical views of the Federal Reserve.
