ObamacareRemember all those people (and Republican legislators!) who said the Coordinated Care Organizations weren’t socialized medicine and it wasn’t Obamacare…?

Well, while most people were and are rightfully watching gun control bills, along comes HB2922 — which sure looks like it’s bringing socialized medicine to Oregon.

Yep. Here it is, HB2922, the “Affordable Health Care for All Oregon Plan.” Exactly what they said wouldn’t happen.

Take a listen: I Spy Minute for Tues March 12, 2013. Or read the transcript below.

And if you’re in Salem on Thursday, March 14, Mark will be speaking at the Capitol City Republican Women’s Luncheon. See www.ispyradio.com for more details and directions.

If you’ve listened to the I Spy Radio Show, you know that we’ve been highly critical of the CCOs, coordinated care organizations. These are Obamacare.

Except those that supported the CCOs — including 23 of 30 house republicans, said it’s not socialized medicine.

While people have been rightly focused on gun control bills, along comes HB2922 which creates the “Affordable Health Care for All Oregon Plan.”

This provides comprehensive health care coverage to all individuals residing — or working — in Oregon.

Socialized medicine. Exactly what the supporters of the CCOs said wasn’t going to happen.

This Thursday, I’ll be speaking at the Capital City Republican Women’s luncheon at the Scottish Rite center on South Commercial from noon to 1.

I’ll be speaking on Health care, the CCOs and how they are slipping in to schools— giving kids access to things like emergency contraceptives and “mental health care” without parents knowledge or consent. And of course HB2922.

For the I Spy Minute, I’m Mark Anderson.
